Playing it on an IPad 2 and its running great. Very good game. I should be sleeping but cant stop. Really fun battles
Im on an iPad, the game is fun but it does not go past Fionas part.... Please fix
Since I updated to IOS 7, I cant load any saved game without a crash to the iPad desktop. This is frustrating, and there seems to be no way to tell anyone about it other than this review ... if theres a support section for the game at Ubisoft or Tag Games sites, I cant find it, and theres no support link from within the app itself. The game itself is great (though for the love of mercy, please change how you delete units, its just cumbersome the way its implemented now -- and if you play on a bouncing bus, as I do, you almost cant do it at all). But this crash has made it unplayable for me, and I dont seem to be alone. Either support this thing or dont release it, Ubisoft.
Had the opportunity to try this out when it was on sale recently. Well worth it. The great thing about these type of ports (I think that this was originally a DS game) is that they are completely self-contained. The game is very enjoyable with an emphasis on character progression. This is opposed to the many games that I see in the pay-to-win category. The gameplay can deep and it encourages experimentation. Each character/hero offers a different makeup of soldiers, elites and champions--a nice throw back to the heroes line of games.
I have been playing HMM on PC since it started and I am happy to see that they reinvented the gameplay but kept the HMM flavour (units, race, ...). Very fun to play. I gave it 4 stars because I dont see myself replaying the campaign once completed.
Addicting.... I got past where they mentioned be stuck above by clicking on the circle thing a few past where I wanted to go. This game is great. A nice change from pay to progress games.

Some bad moments

Since updating from iOS6 to iOS 7.03 the app crashes when I try to load a saved game.
Do not waste your time or money with this game. Not only did it eat my money it wasted about 5 hours of my life I will never get back. With what is a good idea, the execution has been terrible!!! I never review but this is so bad I have to. At first my campaign has frozen (much like everyone elses) and on top after patiently waiting for an update, not only did the long awaited update not fix my issue, it has actually made the game worse. Now in addition to freezing and crashing before entering any battles, you cant even see the characters on the map. Unbelievable!!!!! Cant believe I spent money on this. I will Never buy anything from these developers again....QA people....look it up!!! The only question I have at this point is how do I rate this Pos a zero??? ***update on current version: fix most crashes?? I call BS. Whether continuing the last campaign that crashed out I even tried to start a new campaign multiple times and still crashes before I can even get through the opening video. Do NOT waste your time or money on this. I am so unimpressed I will never play another game by this development house
Constant crashing at intro. If this app wont run on itouch 4 then please say so. Would have saved me the wasted money. Shame on apple for approving this app.

What could have been a very great game become a fail...The game itself and the battle concept are great... The problem to me isnt the concept but the way they made it... *Seen no crash at all on iPhone 5 Controls are chaotics... At least on the iphone... Theres bugs when it comes to walk around the maps... So because of this you cannot meet some of the NPC opponents... Clicking on them bring you somewhere else... even way farther on the map to other NPC... This is even more true when you try to cross map at borders... You have often the feeling that its not responding... This wouldnt be that bad if there was also some "speed" or "accuracy" challenge that you need to pass but cant because the controls are not responding properly... In the battle mode, controls again are a complet failure... When you move a unit, you cannot move it back and theres no confirmation either so once you move it, its moved... Moves are also limited. So its important to have the controls doing what you want to do but because the game on the iphone is little, the system sometime takes the wrong unit on the side... Since the battle system is based on combining units to attack, this can turn very bad when the unit under your finger isnt the one you though you were moving.. Result: all the combines failed and you have to use an extra move to fix the error.... Think a bit of a game that ask for a lot of precision but does not give you the tools for such control and precision... This is a bit the same... Very great concept.. Finally a new and nice battle system: a great idea but a wrong design...
Clash Of Heroes would deserve a much higher rating if it wasnt for the problems it has with iOS 7. Until Ubisoft decides to patch their game it deserves every 1-star rating it gets.
